MightWeb is that rare host that has exceeded our expectations. A fairly young web hosting company, MightWeb outperforms some of the larger established brands. It delivers extra value at highly affordable prices. Starting at $41.40/year, all its plans include a minimum of 100% of 1 CPU core and plenty of useful features. We have particularly liked MightWeb’s fast and caring 24/7 support. Read our in-depth MightWeb review below.

MightWeb Performance
We regularly test MightWeb using HetrixTools to monitor both the uptime and load times of our website. For our most recent results we tested MightWeb for a year between November 2018 and November 2019. The performance of our website hosted in Chicago was monitored from three locations: New York, Dallas and San Francisco.
In most months the uptime was an impressive 100%. Only in one month did the uptime drop below 99.9% (February 2019). The load times are also quite impressive, normally around 500 ms.
Below is a summary of the uptime and average load times for 2019. You can see also the actual test results and the test site setup in detail for yourself.

MightWeb Features
MightWeb offers three shared hosting plans. All plans include unlimited bandwidth yet set limits on the number of allowed domains. The lowest Starter package allows for 1 addon domain (for a total of two websites) while the highest Enterprise one allocates 25 addon domains.
The plans differ primarily in the amount of SSD storage, from 5 GB to 25 GB. The Enterprise plan also has higher resource limits (for example, 150% CPU) and costs $8.95 a month. If you outgrow the Enterprise plan, MightWeb offers managed VPS hosting.
If you need hosting for one or two websites, MightWeb’s Starter plan at $3.95/month will be a perfect choice.

Transparency
Whether you are looking for web hosting for personal or business projects, you need a host that you can rely on. This is why we always examine the transparency of the company and its practices.
Company
MightWeb was founded in 2015. It is privately owned. The company is very small, although it is not clear how many people are actually involved.
The company is based in the state of Washington, while it runs its hosting services from a data center located in Chicago, IL.
Pricing
The pricing is very transparent. The plans renew at the same price. A longer billing cycle offers nice savings. Payment methods include credit card, PayPal and Bitcoin.

MightWeb Review in a Nutshell
We are absolutely impressed with MightWeb. It has set very high standards for the web hosting services it provides. Despite a few minor concerns, we can conclude that MightWeb is the best US-best web hosting service on a budget due to spectacular stability, fast loading times and friendly support.
One potential concern we may have is limitations on the number of domains in each plan. These limits are, however, reasonable and essential for the stability of the system. Another thing is that MightWeb has only one data center location. This is barely an issue because MightWeb integrates with Cloudflare, including RailGun. Finally, while the company is young and small, its support has been outstanding and fast (under 1 hour response time).
What we love about MightWeb is very affordable prices, 30-day full refunds, generous resource limits (100% CPU), free hourly and daily backups and a strong emphasis on security, including DDoS protection.
